Here's a stamp I made because I was looking for Artemis Entreri or Jarlaxle fan stamps for my journal and found NONE. Surely there are Jarlaxle and Entreri fans out there somewhere! Either that or I am just a weirdo who likes villains.
I hope it's alright, but I used artwork images by the AMAZING artist, Todd Lockwood to create this stamp. This man really is an inspiration to me! His work is just astounding and I will have to buy a print of his eventually I think! Todd Lockwood's official website is here: [link] Visit it and marvel at his beautiful skill! Thank you SOOOO much to |

I don't think of Artemis as a villain so much as Shakespearean tragic character. Yes, many of the things he's done are evil, but with the most recent two novels you find out so much of that tragic past of his.
Jarlaxle, on the other hand, is villain, but a damned likable fellow and snazzy dresser as well! LOL!

I am in love with these guys though!
Eventually I am going to do a drawing of the both of them together, though I can't figure out whether I need to draw them in an epic battle pose or perhaps depict them at a tavern with Jarlaxle living it up with some tavern ladies and Artemis sitting there looking annoyed.
And one of these days I can hope to be half as good as Mr. Lockwood and Mr. Elmore.

Blood does not make the man. It is your soul and actions that shape who you are and who you become.

The books Robert is referring to are "Promise of the Witch-King" and "Road of the Patriarch". They're not really part of the Drizzt series - they pick up after "Servant of the Shard"(which is the next Drizzt book in line for you!) and follow Artemis and Jarlaxle - Drizzt and company aren't in them.
Hmmm... in a way, Jarlaxle is a little like that fellow from the Walgreen's parking lot...

Seems like everytime Salvatore comes out with a FR novel I read the damn thing in like two days flat... then am sad because there's no more lol.

Two things I believe I know pretty well in this world, women and war... unfortunately my experiences with neither of them are something to smile upon...
